“You drive too slow – go faster – you drive like an old lady.” I looked at her and suggested that she might want to be quiet. Not likely – she wanted to get to the party and she wanted to be there now.

I pulled over onto the shoulder, got out and walked around to the passenger door. A happy little smirking face looks out at me. I open the door and tell her to get out. “You drive.”

A little happy dance as she scoots around to the drivers side, hops in and starts the engine. I hold on as she pulls off of the shoulder and heads down the highway. She’s merrily babbling away, gesturing with her right hand and driving like a maniac. “Both hands on the wheel”.

I’m pretty sure that she stuck her tongue out as me.

I told her to pull over and much to my surprise she actually did with only a minor argument. I get out, walk around, open her door and pull her out. I drag her off the road and up a small hill to the tower. Yes, the tower – one of my favorite places to play outdoors.

She’s kicking up a fuss – “we’re going to be late for the party”.

I grab her hands and place them on a bar of the tower. She takes one off to accentuate her protests by waving her hand around. I remind her to keep both hands on the bar.

She sticks her tongue out at me.

“Keep both hands on the bar!”

Again she sticks her tongue out at me, both hands waving wildly in the air.

I grab her hair, spin her around and push her chest into the tower. First the left and then her right hand is roughly slapped against the bar to make her grasp it.

I don’t think that she was expecting her defiance to be rewarded with three quick and brutal strokes from a stick that I had picked up.

She screams and her hands fly to her ass.

I remind her to keep both hands on the bar. She protests and again is rewarded with three quick and brutal strokes. Another protest, another three strokes.

I’m not sure if she will remember to keep both hands on the wheel but we never did make it to the party…
